I'm happy to announce the general availability of Disco ICT v2.4.
This release is largely due to organisations who sponsor this project and receive official support.
This project has now existed for nearly 14 years and continues to be released free and open-source.

Email Lodgement PluginLodge warranty, repair and insurance claims to vendors via email. Create custom email profiles and templates for local suppliers.

Pending Device Enrolment ApprovalRather than automatically rejecting enrolment when a device isn't pre-approved, the enrolment request will wait 30 minutes (configurable) for an administrator to choose. A unique 4-character session identifier can be used to match the enrolment session with the device.

Flag EnhancementsFlags can now be configured and assigned to Devices (as was previously available only to Users) - the same integration options are available for both types of Flags. Device and User Flags can now be exported. Over 170 additional icons were added as options for Flags. |

Official SupportDisco ICT continues to be freely available and open source. Official support is now also available. Organisations with a support package will receive assistance with getting Disco ICT up and running, troubleshooting any issues, and (optionally) training to make the most of this great tool. Additional functionality will be opened up to those with a support package and the opportunity to provide feedback for new functionality and early releases. Please reach out to discuss official support for your organisation. Discounts are available for non-profit organizations or those experiencing financial hardship. |
